Membership Qualifications
What are the membership qualifications for MVBWN?
- A woman who owns a business, whether it is a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation or an LLC.
- Potential business owners. These women must submit a membership form and indicate in writing their intention to establish a business within one year.
- A woman who is in a managerial position and is actively involved in the management and decision-making process of running the business.
- Associate Members – Any woman qualifying for membership under A, B, or C may add one associate member – this associate member must either work with or for the member in her business. The charge for an associate member is $30 per year; the associate will have all the rights and priviledges of a full member (full member fees are $75/year, 40/half year).
- Alumni Membership Status: Any member who is retiring or retired her business that meets the qualifications of A, B, or C. Alumni members are also entitled to all the rights and privledges of full membership.
Applications will be reviewed by the Network Board and you’ll be notified if you are accepted as a member.
Any woman is welcomed to attend ONE meeting to learn more about our organization; after that, should she wish to join she must fill out an applications and await its’ review.
